☽ Hand-thrown out of porcelain clay on the pottery wheel, trimmed, and refined with a delicate foot.

☽ Features a frosted texture of thick white slip, punctuated by a glossy black focal patch and a hand sculpted snake in 22k white gold luster.

☽ This piece is part of a series where the surface is treated to intentionally crack while leaving the form standing and untouched. Since I cannot control how or where the cracks form, each piece is always unique and different. 

☽ Fired to a high temperature to be durable and water tight for functional purposes.

★ Care: Hand wash only (due to the real 22k gold metallic luster).

☾ Throwing porcelain on the wheel requires a highly meditative, precise kind of patience. As a moon lover (shout out to all the cancer risings), I’ve always been drawn to the classic Moon Jar form. It’s an individual study in balance, soft curves, and the quiet beauty of a clean porcelain clay body. From the initial wedging and wheel-throwing to the final glaze firing, this piece was crafted entirely by my hands in my studio.
